Because our residents share a home, they also share a special relationship with one another. Spirited conversation over the dinner table, a Sunday afternoon football game on TV, birthdays, anniversaries, outings and celebrating holidays – these are all part of the Serenity House Assisted Living experience.
Serenity House Assisted Living has a comfortable living room and family room as well as covered patios where residents gather for social activities or just visit with each other. These community areas provide a focal point for the many special times that are shared between residents.
For those who love the outdoors, Serenity House Assisted Living has a well-kept lawn, a garden for puttering about, sidewalks for strolls, and a porch, patio or deck for simply enjoying nature and renewing the spirit.
We also recognize that personal privacy is important to everyone. Serenity House has both private and semi-private suites as well as quiet sitting areas for residents to enjoy solitude if they desire. Although there is a cable television and other streaming services in the family room, each bedroom has cable television for individual viewing.
Moreover, each of our homes is equipped with a personal computer and WiFi internet access. Resident bedrooms are fully furnished and residents are encouraged to bring personal belongings such as books, mementos, photos and art.
There is always a lot to do at Serenity House. We provide a comfortable schedule of events and activities for residents who wish to participate. There are games, crafts, and outings, as well as music, cultural and culinary adventures – a little something for everyone.
Additionally, there is always the opportunity for individual activities such as gardening, reading, needlework, or spending quiet moments with family and friends.
When residents wish, transportation is arranged for personal shopping. However, many choose instead to take advantage of the shopping service provided by the staff at Serenity House.
Finally, we recognize that in addition to physical and emotional health, spiritual well-being is important to many residents. Thus, we endeavor to provide resources for everyone according to their personal beliefs.
