Some injured workers are temporarily unable to return to their homes after an occupational injury due to their dependence in routine activities of daily living such as: ambulation, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, medication administration as well as household chores such as food shopping, meal preparation, laundry and cleaning. Additionally, the injured worker may need to temporarily remain near their medical providers for ongoing follow-up.
Serenity House has 17 convenient locations throughout the Denver metro area and provides a non-institutional alternative to large nursing care and rehabilitation centers. The residential assisted home model is often superior to larger institutional settings as many daily tasks can be more easily approximated thus allowing each participant to safety and rapidly return to their homes.
